FDR wore these distinctive pince-nez spectacles on Inauguration Day in 1933. A small
plaque was later affixed to the case for the spectacles to indicate they were used

Roosevelt used this 1686 Dutch family Bible to take the oath of office for all four
of his terms as President of the United States. Earlier, he had used it when he was
