Collection Historical Note

M. William Bray (1889-1961) was a lawyer and politician. From 1933 to 1938 he served at Lieutenant Governor of New York. During his career he also served as a delegate to the Democratic National Convention, as a member of the New York Public Service Commission, as a bankruptcy referee, and as President of the New York State Bar Association.
