This collection consists of one folder of materials. These materials include copies of documents and scrapbook pages related to Anthony Johnstone's 1941 visit to Warm Springs, Georgia, where he met FDR.
Collection Historical Note
Anthony Johnstone was a Royal Air Force pilot training in Georgia. On November 30, 1941, he acquired a day pass to the Georgia Warm Springs Foundation. During the visit FDR drove by in his car. They exchanged a few words, which Johnstone mentioned to a newspaper reporter. For speaking to the press Johnstone was given demerits by his superiors.
