This collection consists of two folders containing copies of correspondence between Helen Keller and the American Foundation for the Blind, Franklin D. and Eleanor Roosevelt.

Collection Historical Note

Helen Keller was an author and an advocate with the American Foundation for the Blind. Among her many achievements was her successful advocacy for government funding for the Talking Book Program in 1935 during Franklin D. Roosevelt's first administration.
