This collection consists of one folder of copies of materials from the Stuart A. Rice Papers, "Roosevelt Library Executive Committee" folder (1938-1942), at the Harry S. Truman Library. These materials include correspondence, plans, founding documents, and newsclippings related to the establishment and early operation of the Franklin D. Roosevelt Library. Also included is a copy of House Joint Resolution 268 (April 19, 1939) that provided for the establishment and maintenance of the Library.
