Collection Historical Note
Dorothy Kemp Roosevelt was the second wife of Eleanor Roosevelt's brother, G. Hall Roosevelt until the couple divored in 1937. Dorothy Kemp Roosevelt was active in politics and was the first woman to win a Democratic Congressional primary in Michigan.
