The papers contain correspondence from Franklin D. Roosevelt pertaining to specific Public Works projects of which Greene was the Superintendent.  Most of the correspondence occured during Roosevelt's time of New York State Governorship, however, after becoming President, FDR continues to express interest and opinions in Greene's work.
