The Livingston Family papers are comprised of translated personal correspondence between Robert and Alida Livingston dating between 1680 and 1726. There are additionally copies of some of the original Livingston documents.
Collection Historical Note
The Livingston Family was, for the 250 years between 1630 and 1880, one of the most important families in the Hudson Valley, and exercised an important influence on the political life of New York State.
