FDR had dinner at his villa with Gen. Dwight D. Eisenhower, Gen. Spaatz, Gen. Booth, Elliott Roosevelt, Harry L. Hopkins, Comdr. Harry J. Butcher, USNR, and a group of nine officers from Elliott Roosevelt's squadron. FDR retired shortly after dinner.
