Elliott Roosevelt arrived in Teheran, Iran. He was due to arrive the previous morning, and his failure to do so caused FDR some concern. Elliott Roosevelt's delay in arriving at Teheran was occasioned by motor trouble at Luxor, Egypt, where he visited prior to his departure for Teheran. Elliott Roosevelt stayed with FDR at the Russian Embassy while he was in Teheran.
