The roof decking is going on, most of the interior partitions have been put up and the majority of the mechanical systems have been installed in the basement. We are finalizing plans for the wonderful elements in the lobby of the new building. A mosaic map of Hyde Park will be on the floor in the center of the lobby and large graphic images of Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt and Henry Wallace will be on the walls. One of the things we are most excited about is a bronze scupture Studio EIS is doing for us. The sculpture depicts Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt sitting on adirondack furniture and will be on display in the courtyard of the Wallace Center. There is even room on the bench next to FDR for visitors to sit down and have their photo taken with the President. Studio EIS is a world renowned company specializing in lifelike bronze sculptures.
