Description:
Caption on back reads: "Here are some of the 80,000,000 Chinese Communists who inhabit thousands of square miles of Northern China and are ruled, in spite of the Kuomintang (Government of Free China) by Mao Tse-Tung and his Communist Armies. The split between communits and the Koumintang government has hampered the fight against the Japanese. The Chungking regime has consistently endeavoured to ignore the communist problem. Towards the end of 1944 hope was revived that the two might come to an understanding. This photo is from "March of Time's" factual film "Inside China."
