Description:
Original caption reads: "The irresistable roll of America's might new army is already shaping world events. Medium tanks (M-3) flanked by halftrac scout cars are put through their paces by trainees of the armored forces at Fort Benning, Georgia." Archivist note: These are M3 standard "Lee" medium tanks (with a riveted hull, rather than the cast or welded hull of later models). The half track is an M2, a scout car and prime mover.
