Description:
Caption on back reads: "Fury in the Pacific - the camera lands in the Palaus. Recording with painstaking detail the ordeal of our fighting men in the Pacific, the combat cameramen of the U.S. Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, and Army Air Force have, in the movie Fury in the Pacific, brought the breath of war to the screen. Relating the story of the capture of Peleliu and Angaur in the Palaus - in an operation resembling the invasion of Iwo Jima - the film conveys the scenes of danger, the imminence of death, the nightmare fatigue of modern battle. It is being distributed Warner Brothers under the aegis of the War Activities Committee of the Motion Pictures Industry. An Army casualty drifts with the rise and fall of the surf off Angaur - testimonial to the courage and character of those who go ashore against the guns of the foe."
