Description:
Original caption reads: "Judy takes a shot at the Axis. Judy Canova, star of stage and screen, opens her personal salvage drive for scrap rubber by aiming a well-placed shot at the Axis - she's donating her trusty slingshot to the drive. The scarcity of crude rubber is serious and reclaimed rubber made from scrap must take up part of the slack. All Americans are being urged to continue to donate used or worn out rubber articles to the nation's scrap piles."
