This collection consists of materials relating to the construction of Franklin D. Roosevelt's home, Top Cottage, in Hyde Park, New York. The materials, housed in four folders, include the following: correspondence, insurance documents, and promotional materials pertaining to the contractor, the Adams-Faber Company; clippings concerning the construction of Top Cottage; copies of photographs and drawings of Top Cottage and the surrounding grounds; and a typescript of an anecdote by William Faber about Top Cottage and correspondence related to it.
