Scope and Contents of the Materials
The papers of Frank E. Vanderhoof are comprised of two letters from 1932 to then Governor Franklin D. Roosevelt. In his letters Vanderhoof proposes to Roosevelt a scheme which he thinks will lessen the Depression. Also included are two newspaper clippings, one of which is from Vanderhoof's local paper and describes the favorable responses he received from politicians.
