Scope and Contents of the Materials
The collection consists of materials within one folder gathered by Mr.Plaut relating to the 1932 flight of Franklin D. Roosevelt to the Democratic Convention. The documents include correspondence to Plaut from a reporter, an American Airways interoffice memo written by Max. J. Pollet who organized the flight, Pollet's telegram from Buffalo to Chicago, Pollet's full account of the flight, a copy of the American Airline bill, Plaut's letter to the pilot, and photographs.
