Collection Historical Note
James Cummings Bonbright lived from 1891 to 1985. From 1920 to 1961 he served as a professor of finance at Columbia University. From 1934 to 1947 he was Vice-Chairman and Chairman of the N.Y. State Power Authority. He was also a consultant on finance of public utilities.
