FDR gave a dinner at the hotel to the Gov. Poindexter and Mrs. Poindexter, Maj. Gen. and Mrs. Wells, Adm. Yarnell and Mrs. Yarnell, Mr. and Mrs. Will Rogers, and Mr. and Mrs. Atherton. Note: Following the dinner the party proceeded to the Federal Building and viewed the lantern parade staged by orientals of Hawaii in honor of the President. |
