Letter was sent to Lt. Kevers asking for 3 additional mess attendants. Messrs. Spaman, Long, Terry, Haman and Black weighed and tagged the baggage, for this information was needed to calculate the weight that would be carried in the 2 planes which were scheduled to take off from Miami, FL. 3100 lbs of personnel, 2200 lbs of luggage and 900 lbs of bottled table water. |
